Please read this before taking part in any class or following anything on this site.
Not medical advice
Nothing on this website or offered in a session is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Yoga is not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.
Speak to your doctor first
Consult your GP or a qualified medical professional before starting yoga, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or injury, or living with a heart condition, high blood pressure, joint problems, or any other ongoing condition.
Practise within your limits
- Yoga involves physical movement and carries a risk of injury.
- Never push into pain. Discomfort and pain are not the same thing.
- Stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel faint, dizzy, short of breath, or experience pain.
- You are responsible for judging what is appropriate for your own body on the day.
Tell your teacher
Sessions can only be adapted safely if we know what is going on. Please share injuries, conditions, and pregnancy before you practise, and tell us as soon as anything changes.
Online sessions
During online sessions your teacher cannot see you as clearly and cannot physically assist you. Make sure you have clear space around you, a stable surface, and no obstacles nearby.
Your acceptance
By taking part in a session you confirm that you understand these risks and take part voluntarily and at your own risk.
