Not at all — beginners are genuinely welcome. A first session is slower and spent learning how postures should feel in your body, rather than pushing into anything. No experience or flexibility is needed to start.

Do I need to be flexible to start yoga?

No. Flexibility is a result of practising, not a requirement for it. Every posture can be adapted with props or a different shape so it works for the body you have today.

Where do sessions take place?

In-person sessions take place in and around London, and online sessions run over video call so you can practise from anywhere. Many students mix the two.

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable clothes you can move in, and a mat if you have one. If you don't, that can be arranged. For online sessions you just need clear floor space and a device you can prop up.

Can I practise with an injury or health condition?

Often yes, with the right adaptations — but tell me before we begin, and check with your doctor first if you are recovering from surgery, pregnant, or managing an ongoing condition. Sessions are then shaped around what is safe for you.

How long is a session, and how often should I practise?

Sessions run for 60 minutes. Most people start with once a week and build from there — consistency matters far more than intensity.
